GRAINGER - Worcester - large teapot
A wonderful example of a George Grainger, Worcester, teapot dating to c1840+.
Approx 7" in height x approx 10" spout to handle.
An ornately fashioned pot with raised molding and standing on a pedestal base. Split terminal handle with thumb rest. The pattern in grey-blue is of seaweed and coral. Gilt details.
Perfectly good for use but also a wonderful display piece.
Condition : An internal firing 'crack' to body which does not appear on exterior - see photo. Some tiny firing specks, The spout tip MAY have some repair, slight signs of wear.
