A stunning E J D Bodley cup & saucer from c1860. Marked with the Bodley initials and, registration and pattern numbers.Beautiful shade of blue colours the branches, buds and raised flowers of this duo.The cup is low sided and wide rimmed, standing on twig effect feet.We have teamed this set up with a tea plate made by Brown-Westhead and Moore which goes beautifully with the set.
No damage found, some slight rub to blue enamel in small areas, tiny speck in the interior ot the cup .
Really difficult to find these pieces with applied flowers still intact. Gorgeous!
